Srijit Paul

Srijit was born in Kolkata and was brought up at Narwapahar, a small hamlet near Jamshedpur, the steel city of India. He did his undergraduate from the National Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhubaneswar, India. His Master thesis was "Topics in renormalization Theory" under Dr. Chethan Gowdigere. He has worked on scalar fields and found a combinatorial structure to the renormalization theory. Apart from studies, he is also interested in learning new languages and plays table tennis. He loves travelling and exploring new places.

Srijit has been selected for the position of ESR 2 with joint degree awarding institutions The Cyprus Institute (CyI) and Bergische Universität Wuppertal (BUW). The project entitled "Exploiting memory hierarchies in future node architectures for lattice QCD applications" is supervised by Assis. Prof. Giannis Koutsou and Prof. Thomas Lippert.
